Judge the week, not the plate
Toddler appetite is volatile by the day and steady by the week. Serve small portions across the WHO's food groups - staples, proteins, fruits, vegetables, dairy - keep two safe foods on every plate, and let seven days balance themselves.
One list, thirty meals
Ten ingredients rotated across thirty meals over four weeks: shop once, cook from fridge cards, and use the same short script every time they say no. No bribes, no replacement meals, no second cooking.
Salt, sugar, and milk
Serve family food with no added salt and keep added sugars out - the CDC advises against added and low-calorie sweeteners for young children. Keep milk portions small so they do not crowd out food, and offer water between meals.
