How we create
resources you can trust.

Parenting content touches behavior, development, nutrition and family wellbeing. Those subjects deserve careful language, clear limits and sources that match each claim — here are the five rules every Twinkens page is held to.

The five rules

Every page answers to these.

Rule 01

Sources that match the subject.

A claim about starting solids should answer to feeding authorities, not to a search result. Feeding pages are checked against the WHO infant feeding guidance, UNICEF feeding guidance and the NHS Start for Life; behavior and development against the CDC toddler guidance and the AAP; sleep against the NHS sleep advice and the WHO under-5 guidelines. Sources sit next to the claim, linked inline — you can see this working on any guide.

Rule 02

Clear authorship.

Anonymous parenting advice is cheap; accountability is not. Readers should see who made a resource and how it was checked — meet the people on our team page. And note what we are not: Twinkens writers are not paediatricians, and pages say so wherever health is concerned.

Rule 03

Honest limits, stated upfront.

Every guide and product states what it can help with and where a professional matters instead. Our content is general information — never a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a substitute for advice about your child. The topics even carry a when-to-get-help section pointing to GPs, health visitors and paediatricians.

Rule 04

No invented proof.

New products start at zero reviews — and our pages show zero, with every star and testimonial block hidden until real buyers exist. We do not manufacture outcomes, before-and-after stories or expert endorsements to make a resource look established. The FAQ explains what this means for refunds on instant digital downloads.

Rule 05

Tested real, corrected open.

Systems like our meal rotation are tried with real families before they ship — genuinely fussy eaters, not enthusiastic ones. And when a reader spots something wrong or unclear, it goes back into the resource, not into a drawer. Found a mistake? Contact us.
